A large significant number of UKTDC instructors have taken the Kukkiwon instructors course in Korea with or accompanied by Emmersons Green Tae Kwon Do instructor, Master Chris Davies 7th Dan Tae Kwon Do.

Emmersons Green Tae Kwon Do School ensure that we teach authentic Tae Kwon Do and keep strong connections with the headquarters in Korea. Emmersons Green Martial Arts instructor Master Chris Davies has also been a prominent member of the UKTDC negotiation and mediation with the British Tae Kwon Do Control Board, Sport England, UK Sport and the British Tae Kwon Do Council.

Bristol Martial Arts instructor Chris Davies of Emmersons Green Tae Kwon Do School has a distinguished hostory in the Martial Art. He holds a 7th Dan Black belt in Tae Kwon Do, has a commendation from the Kukkiwon for his devotional work in promoting Tae Kwon Do,is a qualified Kukkiwon International instructor which he qualified for at the world HQ in Korea. In 2009 he was participant of the first World Tae Kwon Do Leaders Forum which took place in Seoul, Korea, in February 2010 he was awarded a position on the Kukkiwon Co-operation committee and in December 2010 he carried the union flag for Great Britain at the opening ceremony of the World Hanmadang Tae Kwon Do Games held at the Kukkiwon in Korea. In July 2011 Emmersons Green Martial Arts instructor Master Davies accompanied a number of instructors to the Kukkiwon Foreign Instructors Course in Korea. He had meetings with Kukkiwon where the UKTDC of which he is Secretary General were awarded Associate status with Kukkiwon; in August 2011 Emmersons Green Tae Kwon Do School Master Chris Davies was awarded the title and position of Kukkiwon Advisory member.
