UK Kukkiwon Office first high Dan grading

GM Christopher Davies selected as on of the 5 Grandmaster examiners

The UK Kukkiwon Office will be holding its first high Dan grading for those testing for 5th, 6th and 7th Dan ranks in Manchester on 3rd December in conjunction with World Taekwondo Grand Prix Final that will see some of the worlds top competitors vying for Olympic places with their national teams.

Grand Master Christopher Davies has been selected as one of the examining panel that consists of 5 independent and MNA Grandmasters of 8th and 9th Dan. Following the examination the Grandmasters will head to the Manchester Regional Arena where the Grand Prix is being held and an open meeting of high dan Masters and Grandmasters will be convened to discuss the future progress of the UK Kukkiwon Office.

The UK Kukkiwon Office is still in development and as such there are still issues to be resolved. As an independent representative, Grandmaster Christopher Davies in the spirit of co-operation and good faith has accepted the invitation to sit on this very first high Dan grading panel and hopes to work with British Taekwondo to address and overcome any existing concerns.
